Our story

Welcome to on Point K9 Services!  Opened in 2022, we are your premier bed bug detection team in New England.  My name is Katelyn and I am the founder/operator of On Point K9 Services.

I began my journey as an intern in 2017 with the Massachusetts State Police Explosives and Arson units. After graduating , I began working for a private explosives detection company with my first  partner, "Cannon". 

In 2020, I began working for a bed bug detection company. I trained my black lab puppy, "Beau", who began working in the field at just 8 months old! In 2021, I adopted a 1 year old black lab named "Achilles" who began working in the 2022 season.

In 2022 , my boss made the decision to retire from bed bug detection. With his guidance I was able to create On Point K9 Services and the rest is history!
